Race track technology in Russia
A total of 25 truck loads were brought to the Russian city of Sotschi in cooperation with the freight forwarder DHL, where they were assembled into a perfectly coordinated race track system.
The areas covered by the technical construction of the new racetrack included race control, complete video surveillance of the racetrack, timing, a media distribution system, start lights and electronic flags, radio links, Voice over IP and the construction of the entire data network. The security of the power supply for critical areas is just as guaranteed as the stable Internet access via Wi-Fi even under the highest load. Furthermore, the track’s own weather station as well as the loudspeakers and large-format video walls were installed on the entire site.
SPORTTOTAL has broad experience in the operation of both permanent and non-permanent racetracks. Decades of motorsport expertise ensured the smooth running of the project.
