SPORTTOTAL AG: sporttotal launches portal for local advertisement placements

Cologne, October 15, 2019. sporttotal, one of Germany’s largest multi-sport streaming plattforms and a 100% subsidiary of SPORTTOTAL AG, has launched a new portal for local companies and organizations – from bakeries through to furniture stores, from insurance brokers to construction companies. In the very first week, some 15 companies have already booked advertising slots on the new portal. With a look to next year, sporttotal is anticipating strong growth in regional and local environments – by 2020, a minimum of 60% of the current sporttotal clubs are expected to be presenting existing and new sponsors on the new digital platform.
Attractive advertisement placements just a few clicks away
With just a few mouse clicks, various advertising options with a direct link to the respective club can be booked. In response to strong demand, sporttotal has developed an attractive advertising platform from which clubs and associations can profit: 50% of the advertising revenues go directly to the club.
Club sponsoring or event day sponsoring provides advertising partners with two different advertisment placement options. Club sponsoring gives the company a placement on the club’s page. Event day sponsoring involves the logo or the advertising message of the sponsor appearing during the “countdown” to the selected game, or as an “overlay” live during the game.
As Caroline Päffgen, Director of sporttotal.tv gmbh commented: “In the near future we will be concentrating entirely on this new product for local and regional advertising marketing in order to generate new earnings streams.
