Düsseldorf/Cologne, 29 January 2018.

Sportstadt Düsseldorf and gmbh, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPORTTOTAL AG, are aiming for a strategic partnership. This will enable the company to expand its streaming platform to include the content of a whole sports city for the first time ever. “Together with partners who want to seize this opportunity and actively support it, we will be able to leverage huge growth potential quickly and with a focus on value, while providing our partners with huge value added,”

says Peter Lauterbach, CEO of SPORTTOTAL AG.

In July 2017, gmbh, which was founded in 2016, signed a ten-year contract with the German Football Association (DFB) to raise the visibility of amateur football. Together they will equip amateur football clubs in Germany starting with the fourth league downwards with special technology that enables football games to be broadcast in a high quality and fully automatically live.
